Avanti Climb Assist - Avanti Germany

Objectives: Participants shall learn to follow all safety regulations and procedures when installing, checking and climbing the ladder assisted with the Climb Assist.The participant will gain the knowledge and skills to check and use his Personal Protective Fall Arrest Equipment (PPE) in a fully secure manner.

Target group: All technicians who are going to install and use Avanti Climb Assist.

Content:  

• Introduction
• Working regulations in heights
• Harness, lanyard, shock absorber, runner (PPE)
• Fitting PPE 
• The Climb Assist, its function, daily and yearly control
• Demonstration of climbing with PPE
• Installation of Climb Assist
• Demonstration in guided fall arrester and the Climb Assist
• Summing up and evaluation

Duration:                             8 hours

Places for execution:         Elmshorn,Germany  or On-Site 

Course language:               English or German

Number of participants:     min.2 and max.4

Prerequisites for participation:

Participants must be physically able to work in the selected work environment. 

Participants shall supply his PPE (helmet, working gloves, safety footwear, runner, full body harness, shock absorber and lanyard).
